Vitamin D3 softgel

Vitamin D3 is a fat-soluble vitamin. It is absorbed in small amounts from food, but most of it is formed in the skin after exposure to sunlight. The roles played by vitamin D in the human body are:

• supporting the maintenance of the correct level of calcium and phosphorus,
• supporting the functioning of the immune system,
• maintaining the proper structure of bones and teeth,
• proper muscle function.

1 capsule of the Medicover Vital supplement contains 50 µg of vitamin D3. This amount covers 1000% of the daily Nutrient Reference Intake (NRV) for adults.

Who can take the supplement?

The supplement is intended for or adults who need to additional dose of vitamin D3. Its supplementation is recommended in autumn and winter, and in the case of rare sun exposure, all year round. Excess vitamin D3, although uncommon, can have serious consequences. Therefore, before starting supplementation, we recommend checking your vitamin D3 level (25- (OH) D test) and discussing the results with your doctor or pharmacist.

Directions

The recommended dose of Medicover Vital Vitamin D3 is 1 capsule a day.The capsule should be swallowed whole and washed down with water.
